Kellie Martin, the American actress and film director best known as Christy Huddleston in the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the show about family Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. In addition, she is well-known as the lead in"The Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin's acting journey began at the age of seven when her aunt, the former nanny who took care her children Michael Landon, helped secure an appearance as a guest in 1982's 'Father Murphy.' She began acting professionally following her graduation from Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of roles both in the television and film industries. Besides being an actress, Martin is also a talented photographer and ballet dancer. Martin's sister, who died due to Lupus at the age of 19, inspired her to become the Lupus national spokesperson.
